Toddler Group - 09:30 Fridays (Term time)

This is a group for parents, grandparents, carers, childminders and their pre-school children. All are welcome. There are toys, play equipment, role play, puzzles, books and craft activities for the children, through which they can develop individual and social skills.

The group is also for the adults. Here is an opportunity to get away from your own four walls, to socialize with people going through similar experiences, who will understand the trials and joys of parenthood. At 10.30, we all stop for drinks and biscuits, recognise birthdays and give out any notices. Play resumes until 11, when everyone helps clear up. The children enjoy this too, but as a distraction while the adults clear away, we have a bubble machine (Andy) blowing. Storytime follows. This might be a bible story or a library book and then we end with an energetic nursery rhyme songtime.

The cost is 75p/child/week and the funds are used to buy new toys, gifts at Christmas and Easter, and craft materials.
